Leaving today for for a three-day #Tunica language immersion workshop. I’m looking forward to seeing people I haven’t seen in person since the pandemic and to working with folks new to Tunica to make their first experience fun and rewarding.
I’m also eager to see (and likely marvel) at how well the assistant language instructors now speak the language.

@AllFallDown The Tunica-Biloxi tribe is located in central Louisiana, but the Tunica lived east of the Mississippi until the 18th century, which can account for why there are more names with “Tunica” in them in Mississippi
