This was the last of Japan as “glam #newwave band”, as they started to enter Phase 2 of their career.

Sylvian is experimenting with vocal style here, & when you get to the closer “The Tenant”, you hear the Japan we think of now, from Quiet Life on.
The “more #art less rock” Japan.

I love this album though.
“Rhodesia” has a total #reggae vibe, and the two ‘singles’ are really good.

Il y a 46 ans, le 30 mars 1979, sortait 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗮𝘆𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁, le deuxième album de 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗲. Un disque qui m’a marquée, profondément.
J’avais déjà adoré 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲, leur premier. Mais ici, 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗮𝘇𝗶𝗻𝗲 va encore plus loin.

A very smooth #fusion record with a touch of Latin flair.

It’s a safe assumption that Ernie has long passed, since he was in his late sixties when we last saw each other in 2001, but you never know.

There’s lots in my collection he introduced me to.

Last spin of the night; a musical companion to a book by Michael Fox (a priest and theologian), about “the joys, hopes and sorrows of living a free life in contemporary America”.

It’s a breezy, folky, sometimes #psychedelic record, with very good songs. There was another version of this record with a COLOR cover.

It’s a very #70s album, but with some left-over haze from the hippie generation.

"Little House on the Prairie" star Jack Lilley has died at 91. According to respective Instagram posts from his show co-star Melissa Gilbert and son Clint Lilley, Lilley died Wednesday after a storied career as a Hollywood stuntman and actor, who played various roles on the beloved '70s historical drama. @USAToday reports:
