It seems to me that if this did not involve pregnancy, and the local hospital docs stated they could do nothing... why wasn't she immediately taken by "flight-for-life" helicopter to a facility that could render standard-of-care care?!
And yes this does mean transportation across state lines. That is a non-issue as far as I'm concerned.
It's 2024 people!!
There is no way to justify letting a woman die like this... of common, predictable complications of pregnancy.
