I watched it tonight figuring maybe I would like it a little better after all the time that had passed. I did, I upgraded my rating from 3 out of 10 to 4 out of 10.

It's still not a great movie because the humans in the film are bloody frustrating to watch -- they are stupid people doing stupid things.

Hi mastodon, I drew this guy. I think he's a space kobold. Might be dangerous.

Hand-colored sketch of a weird little guy. It's got a sort of theropod shape kind of like a T-Rex, with two legs, four arms and a long tail. The body is pinkish with an orange belly, with bluish scales on its back and upper legs, and a few small spots on the midsection.

The head has eyestalks, two antennae and a long mouth full of bitey teeth, with a forked tongue; its mouth is open and it is staring, perhaps threateningly, perhaps happily, maybe hungrily, at something to the left of the page.

The arms and legs are green and have three sections. The arm sections are green with brown shadows, are supposed to look chitinous and end in three fingered hands, each with three segments; all reaching forward. The lower leg segments add pinkish structures and end in four clawed feet like that of a bird with a rear claw.

In the upper right is drawing showing the back view of the head, showing four eye-stalks in front of the antennae and blue spikes starting on the back below the neck.

In the upper left is a pencil sketch that might be concept art or a distant cousin; it has only two arms (with four fingered claws), normal eyes instead of eyestalks and it looks more reptilian. You can't tell but off screen it is exhaling a cloud of smoke, so this one might be more of a dragon and less of a kobold.
