Saying you won't vote because there aren't good choices, that's privilege.
Complaining about the system but still being comfortable enough to not do anything about it, that's privilege.
Engage.
Make the best choices you can, then dig in and work for better choices.

okay I have found somebody local-ish to help me figure out how to vote.
But I want to share:
One of the ideas we discussed was asking the local candidate to give me a ride which is awesome, but possibly better is asking the incumbent fuckwit to give me a ride. My vote is private afterall. 
So if you were looking for some subversive #disabilityJustice there's that.

I am so fekkin tired of people carefully explaining to me why something is hard for disabled people. We KNOW.
What we need is for you to turn around and say to the people making the decisions (even within your own business or org):
"Oi! This shit is hard for disabled people. Fix it!"
We need your advocacy, not your head pats.

When my company's #DEI Director explained the concept & **mentioned** **why** they were sharing their personal pronouns I have had mine out there in my public profile, right now, not here. My pronouns would not put me at risk so it's not brave. I do it more in #allyship than anything else. I also use strong #e2eencryption whenever possible even for nonsensitive information.
It's part allyship, part aircover, part practice of being the person I choose to be.

If people didn't take how I behave when I am sick *personally* 
When I am in pain and grumpy and self absorbed, it isn't a passive aggressive critique on anybody else, I am just feeling like hell and minding my own business.
I have enough self awareness and restraint to not flame or otherwise take my misery out on others, but holy fuck give me the space to shut down and be flat and blunt and short on words. ...and maybe cry a lil.

@chris thank you very much for saying all this. It has definitely been on my mind as well. I am already struggling with the harm existing policies/neglect of duty are doing folks like me, so have zero chuff for this fray or even discussion. But crikey I am glad others are turning towards it.
