I made the mistake of being accommodating to my former #landlord and it turned into a big argument via text over electric bills. I just should've completely blocked her after she returned the deposit. She was texting me last night calling me a liar and "unbelievable" when she asked me to keep paying the electric bill and it was just so uncalled for after four years of quietly paying our rent and not asking for much of anything.

#Lisbon is a wonderful city but what is being done with its #realestate is insane.

Some friends of mine (curiously both refugees from the Balkans) have 2 very good jobs. One works for a University and the other for NOS (telephone company), both with high positions.

The reality: they can't afford an #apartment in Lisbon. They have had to move to the #suburbs

Now imagine for those who are not as lucky as my friends...
