You can ask someone involved in licensing and dubbing BL anime ANYTHING. What would you ask? What parts of the business would you like to learn about?
Asking because I have a fantastic opportunity for an interview and figured y'all are cool and might have questions I wouldn't think to ask!
Just putting this here.

It's been a while since I posted about #myBeautifulMan , but I was thinking about how I never made the #fanVideo I wanted to about it.
The story is complex with flawed characters who act out, and it turns viewers away by looking like an abusive relationship at first.
But it is great at portraying a very complex romantic relationship in only a few episodes, and the second half is surprising. A favorite. #bl #romance
I was listening to the Afternoona Delight podcast about the kdrama
Let free the curse of Taekwando
it made me want to search for #fanvids cause a vidder's job is to capture the essence of the emotion of the show. I found a very nice video that reminded me what makes a good #romance.
Pauses. Zooming in. Moments. Glances. touches. Taking space to make the emotions grow. Chemistry.
Might be worth seeking out. #BL
Say hi to me on my booth and perhaps buy something? Here's a small preview of the new stuff I'm peddling. See ya at Citrus Con!
It's summer so it is time to make my semiannual #KinnPorsche post to see if there are any fans out there.
It was a glorious time watching it live with the rest of the world as it came out and having discussions with folks from the Philippines, Brazil, etc.
I give you two ships.

I review Riverbay Road Men's Dormitory vol. 1 Fei Tian Ye Xiang. Contemporary Chinese BL, a slice of life and found family. Low drama and sweet.

ICYM yesterday: my review of You’ve Got Mail: The Perils of Pigeon vol. 3 by Blackegg. Maybe the best vol. so far, plot-wise.

I read so much on March that it took me the whole day to write a recap. Take a look at what delighted me last month. (Spoiler: it's mostly The Apothecary Diaries.)

I review The Other World’s Books Depend on the Bean Counter, Vol. 3 (light novel) by Yatsuki Wakatsu. This was the last volume, which I didn't know, so the ending came as an upsetting surprise, but otherwise a good book.

This was five years ago!?
On my reading blog, I review vol 4 of Case File Compendium by Rou Bao Bu Chi Rou. Best volume so far, with good development in the men's relationsip--and yet another cliffhanger ending.

When searching for manga with vampires I came across The Vampire & His Pleasant Companions by Marimo Ragawa and Narise Konohara. And may I just say: it's so lovely that it came as a surprise to me. Sweet, light-hearted, sporadically painful when it comes to crime-connected matters. Half-made vampire who has no control over his abilities temporarily lives with a man of a particularly fitting profession.
Judging by one of the author's works this one is supposed to be BL as well, but so far (vol. 5) it kinda veers off a bit in terms of defining their relationship. Although I like the angst of the sentiment "the sorrow of outliving a loved one" in vampire-themed stories. Looking forward to seeing how it'll be handled here if it comes to this.
P.S. AL in his bat form is an absolutely adorable fluff ball.
And I just now realized that from this manga cover it's hard to tell which one is the vampire...
