#Python 3.14.0 beta 1 release day! `main` branch is locked!

It's also the feature freeze, meaning lots of stuff got merged yesterday so it can be released in 3.14 in October 2025 and not 3.15 in October 2026. But first, a couple of reverts for not-so-important things that weren't quite ready and last-minute fixes.

The conversation was truly inspiring—filled with laughter, engaging discussions, and valuable insights about Surf and its future. I’m incredibly grateful for the chance to be part of this journey as an early beta tester, providing feedback that could play a small role in shaping Surf into something even more remarkable.

The conversation was absolutely amazing, filled with laughs and good information talked about with regards to Surf itself.

I'm so honored to be able to participate in the early beta of Surf and to provide feedback to Marci, Mike and Emily that will hopefully help make Surf bigger and better than it already is.

It's so great knowing that when you do give feedback, that feedback is being listened to and often acted upon in the coming days/weeks/months. This is what makes good apps become great apps and I firmly believe that Surf is well on the way to having a very bright and popular future!

Okay, so time for a #beta #review of #loops .

I'm guessing most of the "magic" is happening in the backend, because judging by the frontend, "early days" doesn't begin to describe it.

I've got 5 videos on my profile, but onlu 4 are showing. I can fix it by killing the app and reloading it, but I'd rather see how long it takes before it figures out that the feed is old.

I also think I've been throttled, cus I tried to upload 2 more videos and got errors.

Early days...
