Un deuxième pour la route (malheureusement flou, peut-être à cause des contrastes de lumière dans l'eau)

Un autre canard colvert mâle qui se reflète dans l'eau plate, de profil, avec en arrière-plan un tronc d'arbre qui se reflète aussi dans l'eau. Le canard et son reflet se superpose au reflet du tronc d'arbre.

En parlant de colvert, voilà le canard qui dit "miroir, miroir, suis-je le plus beau canard de la Loire ?"

Canard colvert mâle, vu de face, avec la tête tournée sur le côté droit, perché sur une branche morte émergeant à peine de l'eau. On voit très bien son bec jaune, sa tête verte irisée, le collet blanc, la poitrine marron/rouille, les pattes oranges

This Yellow-crowned Night Heron was wide awake when I saw it early one morning. Perhaps it was watching the baby alligator below. Interestingly enough, I saw several alligators on this day in Alligator Lake along the Alligator Trail. I wonder how they came up with those names. :-)

Au centre de la photo, un chevalier gambette (petit oiseau limicole au plumage brun sur le dos et beige tacheté sur le ventre et au long bec) de profil, tourné vers la droite. Il est posé au bord d’un marécage à l’eau miroitante. On voit bien son reflet dans l’eau. Le plan d’eau reflète également les tons bleus du ciel et on voit quelques touffes de végétation sortir de l’eau derrière l’oiseau.
