Here is a Moorhen chick (one of 4) on a small pond near my home.
Here's a photo of a Juvenile Eurasian Jay I took yesterday
Also seen on a walk round my neighbourhood was this Pied Wagtail that had just taken off after grabbing a grub from the grass.
And here is another Reed Bunting, this time sitting in a shrub besides a small lake/pond on my estate.
Just walked round my local estate. It has a few streams and ponds with well developed reed beds all within a suburban setting. So it was no surprise to find a few very vocal Reed Buntings making their presence known
That moment when you put your head on the wrong way One of forty odd thousand Greater Flamingo's seen on Monday.
He is a Young/juvenile Eurasian Jay who posed quite nicely in a tree at Summer Leys this evening.
The colourful Corvid, the Eurasian Jay.
I probably see this bird maybe twice a year, so really happy to find one on this evenings walk.
Everywhere you look in our garden, and they are here every day
A regal looking Jackdaw has started to visit recently.
