@tommi @protonprivacy I don't use ProtonPass, but I am a bit surprised: Do you not have a locally stored and encrypted vault? (like I have with #bitwarden)
@ForgottenFlux I lost one of my pair of hardware keys last week. Waiting for replacement to arrive - #Bitwarden will be the first thing I register it into
Open-source password manager #Bitwarden is adding an extra layer of security for accounts that are not protected by two-factor authentication, requiring email verification before allowing access to accounts. #opensource https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/bitwarden-makes-it-harder-to-hack-password-vaults-without-mfa/
PSA: #BitWarden
New Device Login Protection (February 2025):
To keep your account safe and secure, in February 2025, Bitwarden will require additional verification for users who do not use two-step login. After entering your Bitwarden master password, you will be prompted to enter a one-time verification code sent to your account email to complete the login process when logging in from a device you have not logged in to previously.
Good news, everybody! In the last few hours, there has been a new release of the #BitWarden client on GitHub.
Now, I don't normally care about releases. But this one will finally release a fix for the broken new "tiny fill button" design!
So keep an eye on your extension updates. You should soon have a "click to autofill" setting option that makes it like the old (useful) behaviour and not the redesigned (unhelpful) behaviour!
(I still don't understand how this got past the slightest bit of UX testing or test groups!)
