The word #Eucharist comes from the Greek eucharistia (εὐχαριστία), meaning “thanksgiving” or “gratitude”, formed from eu- (“well”) and kharizesthai (“to show favor, give freely”).

In early #Christian use, eucharistia referred both to the act of giving thanks and specifically to the ritual meal commemorating the Last Supper.

The #Hebrew root is berekah, which also means “#blessing” or “#thanksgiving”.

#Spring #snow? Maybe kinda but really early March is still winter here. After warm and dry weather for a while, we had fresh snow Monday- not cold, just near average- a little above freezing daytime, colder nights. The moisture is important for soil, trees, wetland recharging etc.

1. Husband has gotten *multiple* job offers today!!! Some are high-paying, others give the opportunity for greater advancement. What a #Blessing! 😄
2. I've had the chance today to work on some things for my #Kofi page. Mostly forms for others to suggest new #CharityStitchingGroups & #CharityStitching #Resources for my unofficial "catalog" & to post in @charitystitchers but at least it's*something* productive!
3. Husband & I got to play dominoes last night. He won😄

Your Love Is A Blessing...Been feeling this way A LOT lately with my husband. Going through a tough time...losing our sweet dog of over 13 years....contemplating losing our farm (Hubby's department was dismantled and he took a 40% pay cut...and art isn't selling right now)...But love is there...it sustains us!
