The CalFresh Restaurant Meals Program (RMP) allows customers, who are unhoused or unable to cook their own meals, to use their EBT food benefits to purchase prepared meals from participating restaurants. Learn more at https://dpss.lacounty.gov/en/food/meals.html
You can submit the completed form in person at any DPSS District Office, online, by phone, or by mail. Your application must be received by the deadline of Thursday, March 6. Click here for more information.
Via LA County CJIC: CalFresh Recipients Can Apply for Lost Benefits by March 6
If you currently receive CalFresh benefits and have experienced a loss of food due to the fire emergency and power outages, LA County Department of Public Social Services encourages you to apply for a benefit replacement by completing a CF 303 Replacement or Disaster Supplemental Affidavit.

Via LA County JCIC: People directly impacted by the recent fires in Los Angeles County may be eligible for new Disaster CalFresh food benefits from the State of California.
A family of four with a monthly income up to $3,529 per month may be eligible to receive a one-time $975 food benefit if you lived or worked in a zip code impacted by the fires on Jan. 7, 2025.

Ventura County Human Services: The CalFresh Restaurant Meals Program allows clients age 60 and older, people with disabilities, and individuals experiencing homelessness to use their EBT card to purchase meals from participating restaurants. For no good reason, SNAP usually excludes purchasing hot prepared food. However, due repeated storm damage & outages, the rules have temporarily been relaxed in 26 CA counties. You can also get replacement value on your EBT card for storm-related food losses.
