chestas<p>The chess news:</p><p>1. Religions hate chess. Chess has been banned by various religions over the centuries, and the Taliban have just suspended chess in Afghanistan while investigating its legitimacy under Sharia law. </p><p>2. Male US chess player who punched a female photojournalist after losing a game and then was banned from chess in the USA for a year, was still allowed to play outside the USA. FIDE, the World Chess Federation dragged their feet after his local ban, but have now suspended him for 60 days while investigating a second harassment allegation at an event in Sardinia. </p><p>3. Russian and Israeli players are still not banned from competing by FIDE. Ingmar Spit<p>I've added the "Classic Parisian Café de la Régence Chess Set" to BambuLab's Makerworld.</p><p>Fullsize set: King is about 100 mm tall and 30 mm wide at the base. Pawn is 50 mm tall and 20 mm at the base.</p><p>I recommend using matte PLA. I've printed them with a 0.4mm nozzle and a 0.16mm layer height. Resulting prints are in the photo's.
