I want to play fedi people at Civilization VI! Are there enough people around with interest to get a regular little game going?
I believe Civ shines the best when it gets to blossom as a thought-heavy tactical game: that is to say, I'm fed up of random (impatient, single session focused) players online demanding turn timers or simultaneous war turner. If we're doing this, we should do it properly: as in we should be prepared to play for multiple sessions and to take the game at an organic pace.

@CliffWade Oh, and speaking of video games, I've taken up playing #Civilization6 again on my #NintendoSwitch, so Frederick the Holy Roman Emperor will kick some barbarian butt tonight, too.
Me: Exhausted from another typical week of managing people, time, and resources on several administrative projects.
Also me: plays a few hours of Civ 6, Planetbase, and The Long Dark on the weekend.
Steam Year in Review 2023
I enjoyed this feature last year. Still fun this year.
Interesting to see my top five games by play time: Starfield, Civ 6, Cyberpunk, Dyson Sphere Program, Last Epoch. A variety of different genres.
If the review had been delayed til the end of the year I suspect Cyberpunk will have passed Starfield by then.
Surprised to see Dyson Sphere so high up the list in play time - excellent game, but it feels like ages ago that I played it, not this year.
Also somewhat surprised by Last Epoch making the top five. Enjoyable, but did not play it a ton. However I think this speaks to how bitty this year has been for me - rarely sinking lots of time into one game for a consecutive period, instead dipping in and out of many dozens of different games throughout the year.
Also, no nice chart this year showing how much more time has been spent on Linux than Windows. Because it was all spent on Linux, they haven't displayed the chart
