civicshout.comTell Congressional Republicans: No One Voted for Elon MuskRepublicans in Congress just narrowly avoided a disastrous government shutdown—one that Elon Musk actively worked to bring about. Earlier in the week, Musk inserted himself into federal budget negotiations, using his platform to push misinformation and pressure Republicans to oppose essential funding legislation. His reckless and uninformed interference risked the livelihoods of millions of Americans. Musk’s meddling is a stark reminder of the dangers of unaccountable billionaires influencing our government. With no experience in governance and little understanding of how federal policies work, Musk has no business dictating decisions that impact Social Security payments, air travel, and the paychecks of hundreds of thousands of federal workers. Yet some Republican lawmakers were willing to listen to Musk’s delusional rants over the needs of their own constituents. Musk’s behavior isn’t just irresponsible—it’s dangerous. His reckless lies and ill-informed opinions could have derailed our economy and thrown countless Americans into uncertainty right before the holidays. We cannot allow one man’s whims to hold the government hostage or jeopardize the well-being of millions. For the sake of the American people, Republicans must stop pandering to Elon Musk and start prioritizing the voters they were elected to serve. Letting a self-serving billionaire dictate national policy is not leadership—it’s an abdication of responsibility. We call on Republican lawmakers in Congress to stop listening to Elon Musk’s lies and focus on serving their constituents. The government must work for the people—not billionaires with dangerous agendas. Sign this petition to demand that lawmakers stand up to Musk and put the needs of the American people first. Let’s make it clear: no one voted for Elon Musk.

The #crypto industry has now spent $40 million dollars to defeat #SherrodBrown in #Ohio. That's apparently more money than Brown's previous 3 opponents combined.

According to Politico almost half of corporate PAC money and almost 9% of the total money spent on #Congressional elections has now come from an industry whose sole goal is to legalize securities #fraud. Brown is critical for them to knock off because he sits on the #Senate banking committee.
