Just finished the latest Origin Story episode about Cultural Marxism. Well done as always. Even though I knew a lot of this stuff, it shifted my understanding of the term's usage a bit.

We discuss the worrying trend of our local political leaders making public policy decisions based on bad science, conspiracy theories, and personal agendas. Actively ignoring the will of their constituents. Their most recent move in this vein was to vote to remove the fluoride from our municipal water supply here in Aberdeen. This will negatively impact public health in a place with already abysmal health stats. It will also primarily harm those who are already marginalized and vulnerable such as the poor in our City. This may seem like small potatoes, but this City Council has been actively harming residents of this City for years now, it is time to consider what can be done to counter this destructive institution.

#Trump has regularly been challenged by #fact-checkers & opposition groups for elevating discredited allegations, repeating unfounded rumors as fact, or grabbing onto #conspiracies, especially when under political threat.
In 2016, he falsely claimed President Obama was not born in the US & did not attend Columbia University, that Trump's taxes were audited because he is Christian, that vaccines are connected to autism & that climate change is a hoax.

Georgia conservative Julie Adams spread #conspiracies about election workers,
concocted a baseless story about ballot couriers drinking #beer and doing #drugs while hoarding ballots,
and boasted of her contentious relationship with local election officials.
Then, in February, Adams was sworn in as a 
member of the Fulton County Board of Registration and Elections in Georgia.
In one of her first acts, she #sued the rest of the board and the elections director,
claiming she should not be forced to certify election results “without access to all elements of the election materials”.
The dustup in Fulton County is just one example of the election #certification #fights already cropping up in battleground states,
from Georgia to Michigan to Nevada this year.
