Daryl Blackburn, a data analyst for the now-defunct Harris County Elections Administration Office, must pay $20,000 in restitution and complete a six-month pretrial intervention program after being accused of tampering with government records.

The Texas Senate passed a bill late Tuesday that would let teachers pray or engage in religious speech in public school classrooms.
Marine Le Pen has been banned from running for public office for 5 years effective immediately after she was found guilty, along with 8 other officials from her party National Rally, of embezzling EU Parliament funds.
This means she will not be able to run in the next presidential election in 2027
