Google's Core Updates have hit me! I am overwhelmed! I have been using Flipboard, but my website traffic is still inconsistent.
Why Would I even care about "Being On The Fediverse?" Managing my Flipboard Account is already way too much for me.
The Fediverse and Flipboard complement each other in curating, consuming, and sharing content: Translation = more visibility.

Hello, we would love some of your advice!

The Explore your Archive campaign encourages everyone to visit, use, celebrate and be inspired by archives in the UK and Ireland.

One of the ways we do this on Twitter is monthly hashtags, where you are invited to share archive stories on a particular theme. This month for example, the theme is #EYASustainability

Does this work on Mastodon? What's the best way to share and promote archive engagement on Mastodon? At the moment we've been replicating a bit of what we do on Twitter on this platform, but perhaps we should take a different approach on here?

We'd love to hear your thoughts...

The Nasher Museum of Art had an unconventional muse for their latest exhibition: AI.
What started as a joke in a curatorial meeting turned into "Act as if you are a curator: an AI-generated exhibition."
Undergrads even helped fine-tune AI-generated selections, although politeness seemed to be key.
AI won't replace human curators, but it's a promising assistant!

Folks interested in #preservation and #CollectionsCare (wherever you are and whatever you look after) might like to join the Conserv Community. It's free, chill, quite informal, and open to anyone who cares about #preserving #heritage.

At the moment there's a mix of #conservators, collections managers, techs, #curators, #librarians, #registrars, #archivists, and researchers on there.

It specifically wants people from outside the profession bubble to join, so please do!

#Phoenix #Art Museum is next up for this type of exhibit.

"...security guards and gallery attendants were asked to choose works from the #Baltimore #BMA museum’s permanent collection that were most meaningful to them and then create an exhibit out of their choices.

In the process, the guards got an opportunity to work with #museum #curators and learn about what goes into mounting the exhibits they protect."
