Al Sutton<p>If you've got a <a href="https://snapp.social/tags/DisplayPort" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>DisplayPort</span></a> connector on your monitor, and one on your Laptop/Docking station/PC, please use it instead of <a href="https://snapp.social/tags/HDMI" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>HDMI</span></a>.</p><p>In every case I've done this I've noticed a much brighter, crisper, stable display (and so it's easier on my eyes), and usually I see the HDMI defaults to 30Hz whereas the DP defaults to 60Hz or better on a 4k monitor.</p>
