Graham RossiterI've just had a work meeting where I chose to have one of the hardest conversations of my life. The impossible-to-displace belief that it was my fault, that I enabled it. Irrational, illogical, clearly untrue, but this is what a controlling & coercive abuser does. They gaslight and erode you until they've destroyed you. He's long dead but is still controlling me now. I'll never heal from this. I'm mentally damaged for life.

ThreeOfUs2/ I can’t decide whether the unpleasantness of living near her family is a price worth paying to live near my kids. I think I need to stay away from that town because being under her and her family’s influence was horrible. I do find it really hard though to decide just how bad they were to me.
