*Hoarder victory dance!* I bought this curved cymbal stand arm several years ago, honestly not having a particular need for it, but enticed by the novelty, and it was on closeout—presumably not a big seller. Today I was trying to figure out how to mount a crash on the far side of my rack tom without adding a whole new stand, and a memory lightbulb lit up! It’s perfect.

As mentioned earlier, I sat behind a drum kit for the first time in my life today. Here is a short clip from 30 minutes into the lesson of me drumming along to “Free as a Bird”. I feel I’m off to a reasonably good start. 
The place for blood, sweat, tears and fun during daily recordings in the studio. Brain on, not off...and the meaning comes from the success of the vision...

Not built for complex animation like that. Might use DUIK Bassel 2 or Cartoon Animator 5 instead.

My daughter and I watch videos of people playing music. I'm trying to get her to want to play drums. Don't want to force her, just trying to nurture an interest in her. We watched a video of a guy named Josh Foster playing the pretender by the foo fighters. It was so good that I decided to paint him. I'm working 12 hours shifts six days a week right now, but I managed to fit in making this picture.

Drummers are built different and that's just great.
‘Bout to go in and see Antonio Sanchez playing his Birdman soundtrack improvised live. It’s at the Patricia Reser auditorium, which has an excellent recently done ventilation and filtration system. Mask too of course.

An upcoming idea, with open options, and not written down yet.
It seems to work well for #drumming, and worse for non-#drums.
It is about #patterns based on counting sequences. A simple example could be linear:
0 - hi-hat pedal
1 - snare
2 - ride
3 - kick
Your playing goes:
0000 0001 0002 0003 0010 0011
etc. to end on
3332 3333
And the point is to NEVER write it down in notation. ;p The #challenge is exactly in doing the counting while playing.
Let's hear it in a ridiculous tempo.
