It's nice that Proxmox is providing a tool to help people migrate off of VMware ESXi. I did things the harder way as I didn't have a spare machine to install Promox and shuffle VMs over while I cleared out my own ESXi servers before installing Proxmox on them.

@jbowen same, I was never an #esxi user, I like #ProxMox for #hypervisor #OS, and #FreeNAS/#TrueNAS for storage and in some cases #Hyperconverged storage and #VM

My debian solution is about 1.5 Gb on disk in the back-up. Now also trying #ubuntu cloud. All on #proxmox since #esxi is being #enshitification killed
Have been using #vmware photon, but dont like the update mess.
Also there is #flatcar and fedora coreos as immutable thingies.
