Shotgun Seamstress<p>I got to see <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/EtranDelAir" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>EtranDelAir</span></a> for the second time last night. What an honor to have a band all the way from <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/Niger" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Niger</span></a> come to play for us. The beautiful, layered, rhythmic sounds laced with twinkling, intertwining guitar lines just makes me ecstatic. Its celebratory music tempered with a depth of emotion brought by the experience of prolonged hardship of the <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/Tuareg" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Tuareg</span></a> people. It’s rebel music you can dance to. As a <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/BlackPunk" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>BlackPunk</span></a>, getting to watch these musicians means a lot. It’s raw, urgent, political and transcendent. <a href="https://kolektiva.social/tags/SahelSounds" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>SahelSounds</span></a></p>
