I always watch stuff with subtitles bc I have some minor auditory processing issues¹
lately I've been watching a lot of dubbed² stuff³ and it's been really fascinating seeing the differences between the dubs and the subtitles meant as a translation for the original language
I mean, it's similar to the way subtitles meant for #Deaf and #HardOfHearing viewers are sometimes slightly off from what was said (which is an #accessibility issue)

¹ it's worst over the phone, which is fun since that's my whole job, or if I otherwise can't see the person who's speaking, which sometimes happens in TV/movies

I have, in fact, watched #ExtraordinaryAttorneyWoo and I enjoyed it overall. However, it's far from my favourite #kdrama and there are way too many good ones out there! I hadn't watched any western TV or streaming services for 14 years when #kdrama entered my life. To say that it's an obsession would be putting it mildly!
Watching #ExtraordinaryAttorneyWoo and loving the main character. My nephew falls on the autism spectrum so she is very relatable to us.

Same here.
I started watching #ExtraordinaryAttorneyWoo yesterday evening, and I found the character exaggerated. There was a lot that was exactly right, but a fair amount that didn't match my experience at all, or which seemed to have been played almost for laughs. I have to remind myself that it's entertainment, not a documentary, and that every autist's experience is unique. But the character seems terribly childlike. Is that how people see us?
TBH, after watching just the first episode, I'm not sure how I feel about that series. I'll give it a few more episodes and then decide.
I am TORN.
A) I am not really a fan of the first season of #TheUncannyCounter
B) after watching the 1st ep of season 2, oof, still not a fan
BUT
C) Kang. Ki. Young. as evil bad guy. Who apparently is anti shirt.
Some may remember him as handsome nerdy Oppa from #ExtraordinaryAttorneyWoo.

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed watching Extraordinary Attorney Woo on #Netflix. Park Eun-bin did an amazing job portraying the main protagonist and the idiosyncrasies of high-functioning ASD. The story was brilliantly written, if a little confusing when discussing points of law. I’m hopeful it won’t be too long until season 2 comes out.

I need me a good set of instructions and a recipe for gimbap. Watching Ahjumma in #Healer and #ExtraordinaryAttorneyWoo makes a person hungry for gimbap! At least I stocked up on #soju and Korean #beer for Friday night #watchparty with a friend! #kdrama
I finished #ExtraordinaryAttorneyWoo today! I loved it so much!!
It jumped to my top list of favourite shows 
I've also been watching an episode or two of #ThirtyNine before bed
It's a very lovely show, very heavy but so well done!

We finished watching #ExtraordinaryAttorneyWoo series & I have #MixedFeelings on it. I did enjoy the storylines. I wasn't impressed by over the top representations of #autism . It's the 2nd #Korean #StreamingSeries that bothered me on this issue. While I appreciate that #KoreanFilmmakers are trying to be #inclusive by adding #FeatureCharacters on #AutismSpectrum - fell very short on how autistic folks behave daily. It's disturbing.
These film ppl need real autistics as advisors.

I've finished in years
- I (belatedly) read #HannahGadsby's article about her late-diagnosis #autism (whole sections of which I could apply to my own life with barely a word changed)
- I (very belatedly - only 10 years late) binge-watched #SomeGirls on #BBCIplayer and am already missing the characters - especially #ND Saz
