“This is literally the largest act of union busting in American history,” said Mike Podhorzer, a former political director of the #AFLCIO. “There’s not another time when that many people lost their union.”

At the #GSA, which manages federal #RealEstate, the #Trump admin is trying to cut costs by rejecting many agencies’ requests for facilities #repairs paid for by those agencies. In some instances, ofcls say it’s unclear whether the #budget #law has been violated already or is merely on track to be breached — but the rejections have provoked internal alarm about their legality either way.

…Since the start of the second #Trump term, #GSA employees have shared 3 items with the entire agency. These included two files marked #CUI & a third described as containing #banking information, according to the records.

The GSA’s Office of Inspector General learned of the inappropriate sharing last week during an ongoing security audit of the agency’s use of #GoogleDrive, according to the records.

The file sharing dates AT LEAST to early 2021, covering the #Biden presidency, & continuing into the #Trump admin — including one share as recently as last week, the records show.

9 of the 15 files shared in the #GoogleDrive folder were marked #CUI for “controlled unclassified information,” which refers to “sensitive information that does not meet the criteria for classification but must still be protected”…. At least 10 of the shared files allowed #GSA employees not only to view but also edit the content.

The records reviewed by WaPo did not specify whether the East & West Wing plans, the blast door details, or the banking information were #classified.

The records show that the employees inadvertently shared a #GoogleDrive folder containing the sensitive documents with the entire #GSA staff, which totals >11,200 people, acc/to the agency’s online directory.

The information shared also included the details of a proposed blast door for the #WhiteHouse visitor center, the records show, as well as #bank account information for a vendor who assisted with a #Trump admin news conference.
