Next stop: the #elvetino @diningcar of an #SBB#RABe501 #Stadler 230 kph #Giruno trainset on this #Lugano to #Zurich #InterCity. On the table: one of the Swiss train restaurant classics: minced meat with macaroni, Sbrinz cheese and apple sauce, plus a glass of Swiss Red .

Yesterday, on our way south and in order to avoid the congestion on the SwissMotorway A2, we took the old #Gotthard pass road. We stopped at #Wassen, right in time for a photo of an #SBB #RABe501 #Giruno trainset, passing here pending the (full) re-opening of the base tunnel.
