mgorny-nyan (on) :autism:🙀🚂🐧

A poza tym muszę ręcznie zrestartować, by aktualizacja weszła.

TheStrangelet :bc:
While the best practice is to keep work apps off your personal phone, damned if I'm going to carry two phones around. I'm using a private space on #GrapheneOS for all work apps. My work apps require google play services, and I sure as hell don't want that running all the time, even sandboxed. With the private space all that gets locked and paused when I lock my phone. Perfect.

Meet your Greens
That's all cool and dandy, but the Pixel 4A is on EOL. No security updates, custom ROMs are on a legacy support run. Trevor Burrows
Solved! But keeping the query below in case someone else has a similar question.

TLDR: if getting started with Immich on mobile, be sure to click the cloud icon to choose what folders you want to backup. Simple but easy to overlook.

---

Hoping someone familiar with #GrapheneOS and/or #Immich might have a tip:

I installed Immich on my phone as a Google Photos alternative.

But for some reason, it is not seeing any photos on my phone.

When I open the app, the timeline is empty. And even if I go to Library > Folders (under "on this device"), I don't see anything at all.

The app is connected to my Immich instance ok, it's just not seeing anything locally, on my phone.

I am guessing there is a permissions issue? but I have enabled permissions for Photos and videos.

Any ideas? I have only had Graphene installed for two days now, so I may be overlooking something very simple.

Andrew
Wait, so any app on Android with network access can just open a localhost port and then a browser script can share all your private browsing data via that port? Even on GrapheneOS?
