Die beiden Screenshots zeigen die aktuelle Auswahl. Zufällig sind Debian 13 und Linux Mint 22.2 gerade rechtzeitig erschienen. Wir haben solche Varianten dabei, mit denen wir vertraut sind und die auch für Anfänger:innen geeignet sind. Die meisten laufen problemlos auf bis zu 15 Jahre alter Hardware. Wir beraten euch bei der Auswahl.Wer will, kann am Ende des Workshops einen solchen Stick mit ca. 60 Gigabytes GNU/Linux zum Einkaufspreis der Hardware (7€) mitnehmen, solange der Vorrat reicht. Vielmehr können diese Rechenzentren nicht die enorme Strom- und Kühlleistung bereitstellen, die für die neuste nVidia-Hardware (NVL72) gebraucht wird. Die verbrauchen 120kW Strom pro Rack (Serverschrank) und brauchen Flüssigkühlung.
