The 2022 #InflationReductionAct allowed President #Biden to designate $4B for #ColoradoRiver programs, including big sums for programs that pay #farmers, #cities & #NativeAmerican [#IndigenousPeople] tribes to #conserve Colorado River #water &, instead, leave it in those #reservoirs. The payments are compensation for money they can't make by using water to grow crops or for other uses.

Some fear Trump could freeze Energy Department’s loan office, which supports #electricvehicles, #geothermal, #nuclear and other novel technologies. It initially had $40B in loan authority, but increased to $400B in 2022 when Congress passed #InflationReductionAct. Saw a piece on MSNBC abt free AC installs to low income household in AZ (Maricopa county?). I missed the first part of the interview, but they interviewed a man who got free AC and said he was voting for tRump bcuz it's hard times for people now. 
How did many of those organizations get addl funds to provide free AC installs??
