So how does one become a political influencer anyway? I have a message I'd like to spread, so how do those Tate and Vaush guys do it? Did they just yell into the void until people started listening? Do I HAVE to hate women or want to be a horse? Do I need to just be born with money? Until I find answers I'm just gonna be a meme page to try and build up a following. Let me know da secrets tho

Just been reading about “influencers” after the baby wombat debacle. If these are the kind of people others aspire to, then lord help the next generation.
Be your own person, form your own ideas, and be influenced by people from history who really count. Being obsessed with the idea of making money from tacky advertising or inane trivia isn’t a character trait I particularly admire.

Tja, so kann's gehen: gerade musste ich mir noch von meinen Kindern erklären lassen, was ein Influencer ist, plötzlich bin ich selber einer.

Dem Norm-Bild des Influencers entspreche ich zwar vermutlich weder nach Alter noch Optik. Über die Auszeichnung freue ich mich trotzdem, weil damit Impact und Mehrwert gewürdigt werden sollen.

Und genau darum geht es mir, egal ob auf LinkedIn, Mastodon, im gemeinsamen Podcast "Samt_vs_Seide" mit @Stephanie Beyrich (neue Folgen jeden Sonntag auf Instagram, TikTok, Youtube und Peertube) oder auch bei Vorträgen und sonstigen Auftritten: ich möchte Menschen verständlich machen, warum ein funktionierender Rechtsstaat mit einer unabhängigen Justiz keine esoterische Sache für abgedrehte Jurist*innen ist, sondern konkret davon die Freiheit jedes einzelnen Menschen abhängt.

Und ich möchte so Engagement ermutigen für das Recht - das eigene und das der anderen. Denn Recht gibt es immer nur für alle - sonst nennt man es Macht und Willkür.

I am coming to find that having crippling #tourettes and a bunch of other problems is a bit of a #livestreamer and #influencer (for lack of a better term) super power.

When listening to his videos, you could notice how passionate he was about books and literature. He was a man of deep knowledge, but also always humble.

He started his internet career after he thought about closing his shop because nobody came any more to buy his books.A young friend recommended him to put some videos on TikTok, where he was talking about his passion, literature. The videos went viral and the literature boxes he sold were regularly sold out.

He was in influencer in a positive and intellectual way.

Now he passed away. Who will carry the torch now?
