I really enjoyed season 2 of <a href="https://mstdn.ca/tags/LoveAlarm" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#LoveAlarm</a>, which was less of a conventional romcom than a story about a young woman connecting to her complex feelings. Less than a year later, the Communist Party organized a General Strike. Deadly repression against the strikers further worsened discontent, leading to the Daegu and Jeju uprisings, in which thousands of workers were slaughtered by Korean forces, directed by U.S. advisors.
