JADe (he, him)<p>A MAN WAS LYNCHED YESTERDAY !</p><p>The body of "Trey" Reed, a 21-year-old freshman from Grenada, was found just after 7 AM Monday, September 15, 2025 hanging from a tree, near a pickleball field.</p><p>He had both a broken arm and broken leg. It happened on the central campus of Delta State University (DSU), a predominantly white school.</p><p>Trey's mother told reporter Mike Suriani that she last spoke with him on Friday and that he was excited to start classes at DSU.</p><p>We are all responsible for this. Its not just Mississippi problem, or a black problem or a white supremacist problem, not even a USA problem. Kids learned coil building and were taught how pottery skills were traditionally passed down through the family by women to their daughters, nieces and granddaughters in Nigeria as well as many other cultures around the world, including those Indigenous to the Americas. Other posts take issue with this framing, pointing out that that was only so because their enslavers ignored and suppressed this news for that long. I’m no historian but I think both sides of that argument are leaving out an important bit of context…</p>
