#knitting friends,

I want to try knitting some socks tomorrow, using 25cm circular needles.

I’ve never made socks before nor have I used such small needles, I tried casting on today but it was too tight and too awkward to use them.

I don’t have any alternative needles to use at the correct size so I’m going to have to persevere with these.

Any tips or advice to help please?

Thanks!

Lucky find.

I was actually searching for something completely different, but then this came up.

This pattern is out for 15 years - how come, there are only 99 projects (I know, not everyone's on Ravelry - so probably a free more were made)?

RavelryEstonian Stole - Star Blossom pattern by Cordula Surmann-Schmitt 03/24/10 Pattern update available! Renumbering of the stitches (thank you roseofskye for telling me :)), some clarifications and the forgotten knit stitch have been included.

And now .. back to the usual.

#Fiberarts content will slow down again here - 3.5 weeks of wonderful vacation in Denmark are behind me and I can't any longer do hours and hours of crafting every day. My day job wants some attention.

One of the last days there I spent exploring the most magical yarn shop I've ever been to.

The store is called Huset Tind and is outside of Søndervig.

(Yes, I bought something)

I may have brought back nearly 3 km of yarn from Ireland. Well, maybe not maybe.

But I have a plan! With the green yarn, I'll make a 'Dagmar Sweater' (PetiteKnit), with the navy blue yarn (bummer, there were only two skeins left) a 'Eurus Slipover' (Aegyoknit), and the oatmilk yarn for accessories.

So it's OK?
