I found this wasp beetle (#Clytus arietis) hiding under a bramble leaf

This cute jumping spider (#Carrhotus xanthogramma) loves warm places. In Germany it is only found in the southern half of the country.

First photo with new camera. Very happy with it (and the lens I bought to go with it).

Film photography taught me that my disappointing digital photos weren't from an outdated camera but from budget lenses. Duh. But sometimes you gotta learn the hard way.
