I’m skipping Indiana Jones and The Great Circle, Forza Horizon 5, and everything else that Microsoft Games releases for PS5 this year until further notice.

Free Palestine! Shame on Microsoft. Stop renting out cloud computing to Israel, the so-called “country” that’s actively committing a genocide!

#Facebook-#uni-#muisto 7 vuoden takaa paljastaa minun näkevän #enneuni'a – ja #Microsoft'in muuttavan ne painajaisiksi.

1/2 #unet

My Win10 PC is months from the end of Win10 support and I don't know that I'm really keen on keeping up the #Microsoft thing.

I fear I am in for a lot of tearing my hair out attempting #Linux.

Watch this space for lots of very dumb questions, the answers to which I am unlikely to be able to understand.

So why is Microsoft insisting on pushing out a feature it is very clear users just do not want? What is the point of it? It just does not make any sense. Recall makes no sense. It is one of rather many functions that Microsoft wants to force people into using.

Personally I also do not want Copilot on my computer and the idea that there can be a key on my keyboard that I can press that will enable by mistake it is not what I would think most people want.

I believe that there should be a very clear line between what is on your computer and what is in the cloud. Forcing people to log into a Microsoft online account to use their computer is crazy. Having people mistakenly enabling OneDrive is another disaster.

I guess this is all a great opportunity for Linux.

So, I logged into work #Outlook email. I flip between two email addresses. I logged into the 2nd address, and the inbox was empty. Had a minor heart attack as it's one of our main email addresses.

Then, I noticed the name of the account.

Overnight, #Microsoft has set up a NEW email address for me, with a similar name to the other account.

I haven't asked for this.

It's just done it.

They are taking over and they are winning.

Has your business had issues uploading images to Bing Places for Business? Here's the solution.

They confirmed yesterday that images mustn't contain any special characters (eg, a dash (-), ampersand (&) or question mark (?) in the title.

Remove these, and you're good to go 🙌🏻

As a #Microsoft Office User

I want Office apps to launch with a list of recently accessed files and then just as I click the file I want have it reorder that list based on access history on another device

So that I am constantly surprised and delighted at having the wrong document opened for me at any given time. #UX

Soooo what can you do once you've decided that you're going to do all you can to stop genocide in Palestine? Ibraheem suggests:

1) Organize

"You must join the other workers who are raising their voices against their employer for their support of this genocide."

Where lies complicity? Ibraheem:

"You can try and convince yourself, like I did for some time, that the piece of code you’re writing is so far removed from the contract that you aren’t actually doing any harm. (...) But what would you say about a janitor who sweeps the floors of a bomb factory? What about the person who cleans the bathrooms at Lockheed Martin? Would you not say any job at a weapons manufacturer is supporting it?"
