SilverSalmonAK<p>6:00AM: 46F, rain.</p><p>In the space of 2 weeks our backyard (and many other places in Sitka) has turned into a lush jungle.</p><p>Shades of green wherever you look. Even with the wild blooming that's going on, the overwhelming color is green.</p><p>Moss, ferns, bushes, trees. On sunny days, eventually, that will go to 3:00AM before the solstice blessedly begins bringing darkness back!</p><p>In the meantime, I will say that all the Alaska sun does make for beautiful flowers. Attached are a pics of our rhododendron as a case in point.
