Yes, almost all of #Bluesky runs in a centralized manner. The TurtleIs.land PDS as configured requires the Bluesky Relay and AppView, and there is little if any visible gain to doing otherwise.

BUT I am confident that if Bluesky turned evil, alternative Relays and AppViews are available today. The TurtleIs.land PDS could be fully independent of the Bluesky mothership if need be.

Thought y'all might like to see how my stitching looks before adding backing to my work. After I finish stitching (I used the two needle method for this project) I trim the excess pellon and burn the edges to make it neater (That way you don't risk trimming too close and cutting stitches). Then I add the backing, bar pin, and edging, and all done!
