Does someone also have this?
I'm either fricking tired and on the brink to fall asleep
OR
I'm awake and unable to "sit still", which doesn't mean I need to be bodily active but active with anything, like thinking when playing games or watching a mystery or the like.
So as soon as I start to get tired, I need to get to bed or I'll pass the point and come into the active part again.
Normal brain: I can do anything I put my mind to.
ADHD brain: I can put my mind on anything, and do!
@actuallyautistic
In a few days, I'll be 62, and I have an almost ritualistic custom every year when I complete another orbit around the sun. I consider "New Year's" to be the day one was born. The world began that day; that day was the "Big Bang," the origin of this universe that I am.
Taking stock of my current situation and circumstances, I consider my needs and my vision of life at this moment and I intend to live according to that configuration, which changes every decade, every year, every month, and every day.
This time, I thought it might be interesting to share some of that with the autistic people I come in contact with here, just to share the experience and hope it might be of some use to others. After all, the experiences others have shared online have helped me understand who I am.

Right now I can not imagine to go to a person and let me tested for #autism. I don’t feel ready to get a „positive“ result. Also this kind of test situation..
But I can imagine to face that maybe later in life. When I figured it out myself a bit more first. Maybe. I don’t know.
How is your opinion about getting a diagnosis?
If you got one: Did it help you? Did it bring negative effects for you?
If you don’t: I would love to hear your thoughts, too.
Hi, I am new here.
I am here to find other people with #autism.
I am mid 30 and just slowly processing that I might have it. Things make sense slowly. I hope it helps to be here and connect with other people and talk about it, because in my real life I struggle with that.
Not diagnosed. Not ready for that quite yet and also not sure if I even should. Curious about your opinions on that..
Excited and bit scared to meet you all!
Bleh, I am definitely burned out again.
Sleep doesn't make me feel rested. I wake up tired. I'm struggling to maintain a train of thought, and I get overwhelmed by information and demands so easily.
Ugh. Not again

It's really hard, as an Autistic person, to try being friendly to strangers in a shared space - like a dog park - and get nothing in return.
It's harder still not to feel like it's because there's something wrong with us.
Waiting mode is bad enough, but a middle-of-the-day vet appointment is max-difficulty waiting mode (for me, anyway). I am so utterly useless right now.
