New Year #parkrun at #Ormskirk Was worried that it might be cancelled due to flooding but it went ahead with a detour around a small lake that had formed in the middle of the course! The 100m at the start/finish was also flooded but couldn't be avoided.
Did my first ever parkrun here 10 years ago on New Year's Day so was happy to return for the anniversary

My first post here. Just come back from a Jewish studies conference in #ormskirk which seems an unlikely location but does have a bagel bakery run by a former Brick Lane baker.

Edge Hill was founded in Liverpool 1885 as a non-denominational teacher training college for women. It moved to Ormskirk, the move starting in 1931 and finishing after WW2
