“Support for #Australia’s ongoing ban on nuclear energy has risen sharply since #PeterDutton (Liberal) made the issue a central plank of #Coalition #EnergyPolicy, according to the country’s largest independent survey on #ClimateChange and #energy.

The survey also found fewer people thought any benefits of #NuclearPower outweighed the #risks compared with the previous year.

“#PeterDutton (Liberal) has dodged questions about his labelling of some organisations “hate media”.

At a press conference in #MossVale, a reporter referred to Dutton saying twice that some organisations, including the #ABC and #TheGuardian, were “#HateMedia” and that #journalists were #activists, asking what #questions the opposition leader had #disliked.

“I think what Australians are concentrating on only days out from the election is not the feelings of, you know, with respect, anyone [from the media],” the opposition leader replied.

The journalist interrupted: “You’re the one that’s taken issue”.

Dutton continued his answer, saying families were interested in what’s better for them and #promoted his #FuelExcise reduction and #TaxRebate. Another reporter asked: “Isn’t #blaming the #media just a convenient excuse at this point of the campaign?”

Dutton continued #speaking over #questions, saying the prime minister had no interest in stopping gangs. “I want to keep our country safe and that’s exactly what we’ll do,” Dutton said before walking away. Another journalist yelled about #integrity as Dutton walked off.”

The media has picked up the Opposition leader candidate in the last couple of weeks. Also a reminder that yesterday #ABC #4Corners shown last night, investigated Dutton for misconduct of business Interest declarations while he was a Minister in government.

“#PeterDutton (#Liberal) has abandoned a planned press conference after trade union #protesters interrupted his appearance at a local football club.

#ArthurRorris, head of the #SouthCoastLabourCouncil, joined with two other union supporters wearing #hazmat suits and holding a fake #GeigerCounter in the back of Dutton’s media appearance at the #StGeorges Basin Dragons #JuniorRugbyLeague club in #SanctuaryPoint.

Dutton was making a local announcement for the footy club and was preparing to hold a #PressConference when the three men entered the ground and called for the media’s attention. Standing in the area where Dutton was to hold his presser, the men played air raid sirens on a phone and held props including #nuclear symbols.”

A reminder the LNP leader, Peter Dutton has no nuclear policy. In fact no policies at all.
