And it says #State will end its contract w/ #HowardUniversity, a historically #Black institution [#HBCU], to recruit candidates for the #Rangel & #Pickering fellowships, which are to be terminated. Those fellowships help students from underrepresented groups get a chance at entering the Foreign Service soon after graduation.

The Pickering nuclear power plant. The windmill has been long since removed, it was old, they figured it was safest to dismantle it. The power plant is apparently going to be renovated. Under the windmill & to the left, you can just make out a row of trees. There is a fabulous beach, with playgrounds, & a marsh and boardwalk around the windmill. To the left, out of site, is a subdivision, and I guess the park made the presence of the plant look friendlier.
