In April, it was announced that #wetwipes containing plastic would be banned following years of campaigns by #environmental groups and #Labour MPs.

However, it could be 2026 before it is enforced.

The announcement followed the phasing out of the ‘Fine to Flush’ certification so the advice is now to ‘Bin the Wipe’ not flush it. The problem was that even plastic-free wipes that are flushed down the toilet cause blockages in the sewage system because they are designed to not break down easily.

So, if you do use disposable wipes, always put them in the bin, even if they are #plasticfree.

Anyone know where to get waxed (not poly-coated) freezer paper in the USA? My use case is packaging sets of 1" food cubes. My current best option is uncoated paper, but I'll need to use more layers to avoid freezer burn. I did find a 900' roll for $100 but lol that's like. 10 years worth.

For water bottles, I used stainless for years, but converted to glass in the last year. Just so much better than even stainless.
