I became disillusioned with Pocket after they discontinued social sharing of saved articles. Now I'm just after migrating to Wallabag for my article reading. It's actually remarkably great.
It has full-text search out of the box, and pretty much all the same features as Pocket premium, but doesn't trap you in Yet Another Subscription. It does imports from major bookmarking players and browser bookmarks, and also has a decent API.

To easily import Readeck highlights into my notes in Emacs, I've created 'readel'. A couple of simple lines of code that use the Readeck API to insert highlights in Org-mode formatting.
If you're looking for an Omnivore alternative, don't forget that the Omnivore team published a blog post with our solution as a great option to replace it https://blog.omnivore.app/p/details-on-omnivore-shutting-down
We have an Omnivore import system.
You can selfhost wallabag on your own webserver and you can also subscribe to https://www.wallabag.it/en (11€ / year, or 30€ if you us).

I’m looking for another bookmarking/save later service. Currently playing around with Hoarder but not set on it.
What does everyone think about these ones? Which one should I pick?
Whatever one you pick, let me know why in the comments. I’d like to know pros/cons.

What #ReadItLater , #RSS , and #bookmarks apps/services are you using?
With the news that @omnivore is merging into #ElvenLabs, a company that I have never heard of before, it looks like #Obsidian have launched their new web clipper at the right time.
While I have loved using #Omnivore, having #AI read articles to me really does not appeal.
I find it tiresome that @omnivore is pulling a skiff.com and shutting their service down and giving their users barely 2 weeks grace period before shutting down.
Thanksfully, I saw this enshittification coming and have been a steady user of @shiori as a "plan B". And that plan has paid off.
Remember: there's FOSS software, and there's "FOSS" code-avaible software just want to sell out as soon as they get the chance.
Et si je faisais d'Obsidian mon nouvel outil de #readitlater ?
Do you want a #ReadItLater service, but in your #RSS reader? Do you hate accounts? Not interested in signing up to Pocket or Instaper? RSS-Librarian is for you!

With this program, you can create an epub from your unarchived Omnivore items.

Great work by @agrmohit and
Zsolt Botykai.
If you're looking for a new "read-it-later" app / looking to replace your existing one (*cough* Pocket *cough*), highly recommend Omnivore

How did I not know this yet?
“Omnivore is the free, open source, read-it-later app for serious readers.”
Again, @Omnivore is Free Open Source and I just discovered their donate page! Definitely worth a few dollars if you appreciate what they are doing! #Omnivore #Pocket #ReadItLater #FOSS
