We tried to use Sociocracy when starting <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/RecoveryDharma" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#RecoveryDharma</a>, but not everyone was on board, and the literal board didn’t follow through so the “circles” slowly faded away. I still believe in radical consensus even though my experiences were messy. Solo objectors eventually back down and the proposal ends up stronger and more diverse through the process. You make a lot of enemies though 🤷🏻‍♀️
