Bringing in Spring, despite higher than average temperatures, we've made significant progress.

Provider green beans, potatoes, butternut squash, loofa plants, yellow clover, johnsongrass and native grasses are all growing quite well, and I'm optimistic we may have something to harvest at the end of the season.

The chicks we brooded are thriving, and happy, shaded by our biggest mesquite tree.

Bats hang out in the evenings, as does a single owl occasionally.

It's a lot of work, but it feels hopeful.

It has led to so many threads becoming unravelled. The purpose I feel of queering if there is any is as a mechanism of #dismantling and #regenerative possibility. From this can come a reimagining of environments, understandings, feeling, thought...and practice. To #denormalise a perspective, there must be space to provide alternative systems, and #regenerative systems themselves rely on reimagination.

Even this reimagination must be "queered". It cannot be something

Sehr ueberrascheind gab es scheinbar in der #Dunkelflaute mitte Dezember eine Marktmanipulation seitens der Stromerzeuger.
Denn genau in der Dunkelflaute wurden viele Gas- und Kohlre-reservekraftwerke ausgeschaltet und der Strompreis hochgetrieben. #regenerative #energy

Wie konnte das passieren? „Plusminus“ geht auf Spurensuche: Etwa die Hälfte der Kohlekraftwerke hat während der Dunkelflaute nicht geliefert, bei den Gaskraftwerken waren fast zwei Drittel außer Betrieb. Obwohl ausreichend Kraftwerke vorhanden waren, haben sie keinen Strom angeboten. Bundesnetzagentur und Kartellamt ermitteln wegen des Verdachts auf Marktmanipulation.
