The torture, violations, and starvation there are unprecedented. We are talking about prisoners who have been shackled for 10 months, prisoners with amputated limbs without medical care, elderly detainees who are bound and blindfolded, detainees who have lost 70 to 90 kilograms of weight. Indy Richard 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿Many (but not all) countries give Israel unconditional support no matter how many international laws they break or innocent people are slaughtered. Why does this happen? Is it about bribes? Israel seems skilled in what it spends buttering up politicians in other countries. Is it about fear? Israel seems very skilled in using guilt over the holocaust and fear of being called antisemitic to scare much of the world into not being critical. Seems very simplistic.
