After being convicted for occupying and breaking into Elbit’s former Oldham factory, three actionists walked free after being sentenced to 120 hours of community service and court costs.

Their action contributed to the permanent closure of the Israeli weapons factory, the first site forced to shut down following Palestine Action intervention.

Our goal is to evict this evil weapons manufacturer out of our backyard by any means necessary. We will not back down until Elbit is OUT of South Florida.

This particular location manufactures parts for M1 Abrams tank, High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) launchers, and IOF aircrafts.

This is week 4 of our weekly rallies at Real-Time Laboratories, an Elbit Systems branch. Our goal? To apply enough pressure to have this evil entity removed from Boca Raton!

Elbit Systems is the largest “Israeli” military manufacturer and produces 85% of IOF’s land-based equipment as well as 85% of the drones used by the Israeli Air Force. It is an international high technology company engaged in a wide range of “defense, homeland security and commercial programs…”

…And we have one in our own backyards, profiting off of this destruction, this genocide.

Elbit Systems has been forced to permanently shut down their “Elite KL” factory in Tamworth, Staffordshire in England after a sustained direct action campaign by Palestine Action.

The factory was manufacturing cooling and power management systems for IOF vehicles, but was sold last month after suffering a 75% cut in profits, largely due to security and supply chain costs as a result of direct actions.

The new board unanimously agreed to withdraw from all future defense contracts and cut all ties with Elbit.

Starting in November 2020, actions against the factory included occupying their roof, smashing the site, ripping out the roof tiles, letting the rain destroy the inside, and defacing it with paint. The site was taken out of service three times in 2021 due to occupations. February 2022, the site was taken out of service for weeks due to damaged roof tiles and a £250,000 damage cost. 6 were arrested occupying the site a month later.

A Palestine Action spokesperson stated:
“Each activist who occupied and dismantled Tamworth’s Israeli weapons factory did so in order to bring an end to Israel’s weapons trade, and to end the profiteering from Palestinian repression. Every defeat Elbit faces is a victory for the Palestinian people. Kicking Elbit out of Tamworth shows once again that direct action is a necessary tactic. It is one which must be utilised and amplified in the face of the Gaza genocide.”

Elbit Systems, the zionist entity’s largest weapons developer, produces 85% of the IOF’s drones, as well as ammunition and surveillance systems. Elbit also sells these weapons and surveillance systems to repressive governments globally, including the United States, and its sites and subsidiaries are found worldwide.

🚨 $30 billion transportation giant Kuehne+Nagel (K+N) formally announced the termination of its business relationships with Elbit Systems, the zionist entity's largest weapons manufacturer, following a series of direct actions by Palestine Action. A direct action targeting K+N's Leicester office started in May 2023, including breaking windows and spray painting the inside, followed by several other actions.

These actions led K+N to disguise its transport of Elbit's weaponry from its subsidiary, UAV Tactical Systems, which was followed by a double direct action targeting the Milton Keynes branch and an insurance firm in London, in which windows were smashed and buildings covered in paint, demanding cutting ties with Elbit.

Palestine Action targeted K+N after learning of its contacts with Elbit through a a whistleblower, as K+N would transport drone technology from the Elbit UAV Tactical Systems factory in Leicester. K+N also historically transported weapons to Apartheid-era South Africa, facilitated by the zionist entity.

K+N's cessation of relations with Elbit signifies the growing operational and public relations risks associated with their association with Elbit.

This victory comes after direct actions forced companies such as iO associates (recruiters), Fisher German (property managers of Elbit's Shenstone factory), and website hosts for Elbit's Leicester factory, to also sever ties with the zionist arms producer, underscoring the effectiveness of direct action against zionist targets.

A Palestine Action spokesperson said: “All companies associated with Israeli weapons makers Elbit Systems must follow suit and end their links with Israel’s genocide of the Palestinian people. Palestine Action will continue to target all those who facilitate the production of Elbit’s weaponry, which is 'battle-tested' on the Palestinian people. In solidarity with Palestine, we will not stop until Elbit ceases to exist.”

Hundreds showed up with intention to #ShutElbitDown in Boca Raton, FL. In the face of violence counter protests our people remained principled and dedicated to amplifying Palestinian voices.

Activists refused to comply to the dozens of militarized cops who demanded we leave the property prior to the zionists counter protest.

Organizers held their ground, sitting on the lawn until the zionists left, making clear that we will not fall prey to their violent intimidation tactics and that we are here to stay.
