RaymondPierreL3<p>I had made up my mind to be tolerant and sit through the <a href="https://aus.social/tags/ABC" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>ABC</span></a> shitshow (<a href="https://aus.social/tags/Sarah" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Sarah</span></a> and <a href="https://aus.social/tags/Speersie" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Speersie</span></a>) and while <a href="https://aus.social/tags/Laura" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Laura</span></a> was on point, my blood pressure was up half way through Sarah's interview with the <a href="https://aus.social/tags/Treasurer" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Treasurer</span></a>.</p><p>Sarah kept using coalition talking points to question the Treasurer but when in his answer the Treasurer compared his budget to the coalition' s non-existant financial policies and its record Sarah tells the treasurer off for not talking about his budget. WTF ?</p><p>I turned it off. I will learn more about the budget from better <a href="https://aus.social/tags/Journalists" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Journalists</span></a> who do their homework and explain the budget without political bias. All this fishing for gotchas is unnerving and frankly childish.</p><p>I'm just glad I didn't stick around for Speersie, I would've had to take blood pressure meds, a cup of chamomile tea and gone to bed for a rest otherwise.</p>
