Can anyone take a guess as to why I'm receiving this? Spotify have no clue.
I have #Spotify premium and will be cancelling soon. I’m using this solution to download all my music to mp3 on my laptop. It’s working well, in case you’re looking for a $20 solution to getting off Spotify and streaming services with your music intact.

Just requested my data from #Spotify and the link they sent me (twice) is dead.
Introduced my wife to AntennaPod for podcasts, as a step to wean us off Spotify, and her initial confusion was that she didn't have to log in to anything to use it, it just works, and she can find the podcasts she is interested in!
It's too easy!
#Today is national “Stop Using #Soundcloud to Host Your Audio Drama” Day.
(Seriously. It’s not capable of properly supporting all the tags necessary for serialized storytelling with a #FictionPodcast.)
(Neither is #Spotify for Creators.)
(It’s not really a national holiday. But it’s important.)
Migrating to a proper host for your #AudioFiction show will be appreciated by your potential listeners. And it’s easy.
I went all out on a #selfhosting setup (again). I decided to host a few (more) things that I had wanted for some time. This instance is one of them.
Over the years, I've used a #Synology #NAS (awful, very limited software). Then I built a #diyNAS with a Celeron CPU and Mini-ITX board, but it was a bit too big for my nomadic lifestyle, so I sold it for parts before my second move.
I was stuck with an #Asustor NAS for some time, which was good for storage. Especially since it was easy to run on a custom OS — #OpenMediaVault, in my case. But it wasn't powerful enough to run everything I wanted. And that's not including things like #GoToSocial. Admittedly, I'm also running surveillance software.
I've eventually settled on an AMD #Ryzen #miniPC with NVMe and SATA storage. The SATA disk is limited to a height of 7 mm, which also limits it to 2 TB. The NVMe is also limited to 2TB, because of the price =)
Additionally, I have a USB 3.0 external hard drive for 'cold storage'. It's also 2TB. So, with 6TB of #storage, I have more than enough for my self-hosting needs. This includes my current media library, although it may become a bottleneck in the near future as I'm leaving #Spotify.
The purpose of this instance is to post about #selfhosted software and, on occasion, a little about #softwaredevelopment (though I always struggle to find something to write about on this subject, probably because it is my job) without being constrained to 500 characters on #Mastodon or running a full-featured Mastodon instance.
#introduction
"I found the real Spotify accounts of celebrities, politicians, and journalists. Many use their real names. With a little investigating, I could say with near-certainty: yep, this is that person.
The Panama Papers revealed hidden bank accounts. This reveals hidden tastes."
Or lack thereof.

I made a thing! Meet Shuffleupagus, a multi-service playlist generator with balanced shuffling.
This is the basis of my rebooted No-Fash Dungeon Synth playlist. Now that I’ve got it cleaned up, I’ll begin working on adding more services besides Spotify and Apple Music.
